How to Achieve Your Peak State Each and Every Day So You Can Accomplish More and Feel Less Stressed

The most successful executives and entrepreneurs always talk about the importance of routine in their daily life. For those of you that are not Steve Jobs or Elon Musk, you're probably saying to yourself, "How do those guys fit it all in?".

The Secret is that their days are always completely different and they run from one task to the next task like anyone else. They get hit by the same daily whirlwind that derails all of us. BUT, with the right strategy, the whirlwind doesn't have to derail your day.

So here's the tidbit for the day...

If you're going to go from being a performer to a high performer, it starts by understanding the ramp-up and ramp-down of each day.

Getting a proper ramp-up each morning is vital to get into the peak production state that helps you crush that to-do list. Your ramp-up period is everything from the moment you wake up to the moment you sit behind the desk and start cranking out work. One that Brendan Bouchard trains on a lot looks something similar to this:

  • Wake Up

  • Go to the gym and get 45 minutes of weight training and cardio

  • Come home, get dressed

  • Quiet time including journaling, visioning, gratitude, meditating, etc...

  • Time with family

  • Head off to work

Making it a habit to start your day off properly allows your body to mentally get into the "crush it mode" where you can get to work, get focused, and dial it in for the day.

Now, most people know the ramp-up period and have all the excuses in the world of why they can't go to the gym and they don't want to make time for meditations. This is what most people don't talk about though... the ramp-down period. The period where you get into a peak rest state and prepare your mind to shut off for the night.

Here is the list for those people who know how to get into their peak rest state:

  • They know when to shut the phone off each night.

  • They know when the TV needs to be turned off so they can clear their mind.

  • They go to bed at the same time each night.

When you get into the habit of ramping up and ramping down, it makes it easier to accomplish your day. There are so many people who try to wake up at 4AM but they can't because they are only thinking about waking up. They didn't think about getting into bed at the right time.

I want you to write out your morning habits and your evening habits. Are these habits helping you achieve your top results or do you have some work to do? Let us know what you find in the comment section below. We would love to support you!
